Landa Branch Library closes for restoration and renovation

San Antonio Public Library will temporarily close Landa Branch Library at 233 Bushnell Avenue beginning Monday, June 5, for improvements to  the historic building.

Between June 5 and Sept. 20 the building will receive a complete exterior restoration and interior improvements to realign public service areas for better customer service and to refresh furniture and paint. This project will ensure that the beautiful Landa Branch Library remains an iconic part of the San Antonio Public Library system for years to come.

Though the building is closed, the popular Landa Library playground will remain open, as will the book drop. Holds listed for pickup at Landa will be available at the Tobin Branch Library at Oakwell at 4134 Harry Wurzbach Road during the closure. Landa Library patrons are invited to visit these nearby locations: Central Library (600 Soledad St., 78205), San Pedro Branch Library (1315 San Pedro Ave., 78212), or Tobin Branch Library at Oakwell.
