Updated Jan. 28, 2019 for Special Election Early Voting 

A Special Election for District 125 State Representative is happening Feb. 12, but early voting starts Monday Jan. 28. Former State Representative Justin Rodriguez, a Democrat, vacated the seat after he was appointed to serve as a Bexar County Comissioner after the death of Paul Elizondo last year, The Texas Tribune reports.
