Community Budget Hearings
NOWCastSA will webcast live from four of the City of San Antonio 2013 Budget Hearings - you can join us online to join the conversation Monday, Aug. 20 through Thursday, Aug. 23 starting at 6:30 p.m. While there are two budget hearings scheduled simultaneously on Thursday, NOWCastSA will webcast one and will record the other and get it on the site for you to replay later.
Council members and City staff will be in attendance at each hearing to explain important aspects of the proposed budget and answer questions from participants. Members of the public are encouraged to sign up to speak for or against proposed program budgets.
The proposed budget was presented to the City Council on Thursday, August 9, and can be found by clicking here.
