Webcast: San Antonio gets a preview of MidTown Brackenridge Master Plan
Location
The City of San Antonio and the San Antonio River Authority unveiled the MidTown Brackenridge Master Plan, which affects the neighborhoods of Mahnke Park, Tobin Hill, Monte Vista, River Road, Government Hill and Westfort Alliance.
The MidTown Brackenridge Plan, drafted after months of meetings with residents and community leaders, was discussed at an open house meeting at the Witte Museum, at 3801 Broadway from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Feb. 7.
Here is video from NOWCastSA's live webcast of the event:
The plan, which involves a Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ), includes commercial areas along Broadway from I-35 North to Burr Road and along St. Mary’s Street from I-35 North to Mulberry Avenue, as well as most of the area between Broadway, North St. Mary’s Street, I-35 and U.S. Hwy 281. It was drafted by lead consultants, Gateway Planning and Alamo Architects.
