Artist Diana Kersey's ceramic panels on the Mulberry Avenue Bridge at Brackenridge Park whimsically depict the life cycle of the Texas Gulf Coast Toad, from mating to egg, to tadpole to toad again. The San Antonio Public Library will present a draft of its new Strategic Plan to the community during a series of public forums scheduled to obtain public input on the plan. The new Strategic Plan is designed to reemphasize the Library’s top priority of supporting education and learning opportunities through an expanded role in early literacy education and stronger relationships with area school districts.

When Ramona Garcia sang the National Anthem at the first of San Antonio Independent School District's high school graduation ceremonies Saturday morning, her grandfather was watching and listening on his computer 250 miles away."Thanks for webcasting the Graduation of Highlands High School this morning," wrote Ramona's grandfather, Otto Perryman, in an email. "I am disabled and was unable to travel to San Antonio to see the graduation, and appreciate you allowing me to watch it from my home in Fort Worth."
