 Joe Ramirez, 6, likes to help his mom and sisters bake cookies at home, but when he attends SA Youth he likes to play football and basketball with his friends. He even hopes to become a pro basketball player one day.

NOWCastSA will record “A Community Conversation: Reno Achieved No Kill: San Antonio CAN, too!” Talk About It!/¡Vamos Hablarlo!, a bilingual multimedia and grassroots campaign focused on helping San Antonio achieve the Animal No Kill Initiative, is hosting the free public event on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Norris Conference Center at Wonderland of the Americas Mall. Due to technical difficulties with our livestream hosts outside of our control, we are unable to webcast the event live.

SAN ANTONIO (August 30, 2011) – Urinary incontinence is a common problem that can be worsened by cancer and some of its related therapies. But many treatment options exist for incontinence, and that is the subject of the next free public lecture at the Cancer Therapy & Research Center at the UT Health Science Center San Antonio.

Dear Fellow Parents, Students and Friends,My name is Irene Berns and I am a parent and a student in Michael Gravitt's keyboard and percussion classes. My daughter Samantha is in sax, piano and keyboards. We have been in the city music programs for six years and we are heartbroken that classes will not resume next week. I have started a " Save the San Antonio Parks and Recreation Music Program" campaign and I'm asking for your help.
