Can we encourage positive behavior by making things fun? The folks over at The Fun Theory do. They held a competition inviting people to provide ideas on how to make everyday tasks such as throwing away trash, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, and recycling more fun.

Most marketing textbooks teach the 4 P’s of marketing (Product, Price, Place, Promotion). Although the promotion aspect of marketing gets the most attention the other 3 P’s are equally important in a successful business.

Girls Inc. of San Antonio is renaming its ten-week summer camp "Glenda Woods Girls University," in honor of the donor whose bequest is helping the program expand to include 100 girls in two locations for the next four years.

On Thursday, May 19, the Ecumenical Center for Religion and Health will host a workshop on forgiveness presented by Richard S. Balkin, Ph.D., LPC-S, NCC. From 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Dr. Balkin will teach the skills necessary to address issues of conflict and forgiveness. The workshop is free to attend and lunch is included for all registrants (there is a fee to receive continuing education units).
