2012 Royal Winter Masquerade Ball: Carnival, a Midnight Celebration in Rio

The Alamo Empire is excited to be preparing for one of its biggest fundraisers of the year, the Royal Winter Masquerade Ball. This fundraiser was the brainchild of now Reign 20 Emperor Geoff Torres, who was a member during Reign 9 in early 2000.

His brainchild was to bring together organizations, the community, and the Alamo Empire membership to provide a time and venue in which all could come together in their best attire and “regalia” and have a good time celebrating with the purpose of fundraising for the Court’s Designated Annual Beneficiaries.  It was to be a time for camaraderie, celebration and fellowship.

The event, originally held in the Fall, moved to late January due to the many events occurring during the holiday season.  It has since become known as the Royal Winter Masquerade Ball with numerous theme names.  This year’s theme is, “Carnival, A Midnight Celebration in Rio.”  The monies raised from ticket proceeds and silent auction sales, donations and sponsorship will benefit Stand Up for Kids, HIV ACTS Ministry and Mujeres Unidas, Inc.

The following invitation is extented to all.  Please join us and make this event a success.
