Creating Blue-Green Jobs

The Sierra Club will be holding a public event about efforts to create "blue-green" jobs and how the Lone Star Chapter is helping to build bridges between unions and environmental groups to create green jobs. Dave Cortez, coordinator of the Texas BlueGreen Apollo Alliance will be hosting.
The event will take place at the Witte Museum, 3801 Broadway near Brackenridge Park. Admission is free and open to the public. Free parking is available in the parking garage south of the museum across Tuleta Street. Socializing and snacks begin at 6 p.m., program at 6:30 p.m. Talk will be one hour, with a discussion after.
