RockIt Into the Future science festival

The 5th Annual Girls Inc. RockIt Into the Future Science Festival presented by Rackspace is a family-friendly event featuring hands-on science activities and workshops to encourage girls ages 6 to 18 to participate in science, math, technology and engineering by exploring, asking questions and solving problems.

Featuring 40 organizations providing hands-on science activities, you can experience the amazing world of science, math and technology! Boeing will bring their 40-foot mobile engineering and technology trailer; Rackspace will have a corral of Hexbugs, KIPP U Prep will showcase their 5-foot robot and many more.

Radio Disney will provide live entertainment and play fresh tunes. Food, drinks and Weinerschnitzel will be available for purchase and door prizes will also be given away.

Star Wars Stormtroopers will be on hand to take photos and the Roosevelt Roughrider Drum Line and Step Team will kick-off the festivities.

$6 per Science Festival Passport and plenty of free parking; Adults and kids ages 5 and under are free.
