The Truth Behind the Mexican Revolucion – Part 2

La Verdadera Revolución Mexicana, part. 2 by Azul Barrientos, continues on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. at the Esperanza Peace and Justice Center, 922 San Pedro. Azul will enlighten us with the true history of the Mexican Revolucion, it’s complexities, it’s influences and implications. Azul will also pay homage to Our Lady of Guadalupe whose feast day is on Monday, Dec. 12. These two very different themes are intimately tied to the Mexican consciousness. Azul’s interpretation of these events is completed with the songs and music she has chosen for the night.

As artista in residence, Azul Barrientos is at the Esperanza Peace and Justice Center features Noche Azul on a monthly basis. Join us on Saturday, Dec. 10 for an evening of complete enjoyment. The ambience is warm and cozy and the $5 (mas o menos) cover charge is reasonable. Concessions will be sold.
