2012 Martin Luther King Scholarship Application Due

Graduating seniors attending a Bexar County high school, planning to pursue a college degree and who are seeking financial assistance are encouraged to apply for the Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship. Each year, the MLK Commission awards $1,000 scholarships to area students with funds originated by a variety of charitable donors including small businesses, large corporations, non-profit organizations and individuals.

Students selected to receive MLK Scholarships will be recognized during a City Council meeting in May 2012. Completed applications must be submitted by Friday, March 9, 2012 by 4 p.m. local time.
