Cinco de Mayo recognizes the legendary and historic Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.  The Commemoration program at Plaza Guadalupe, 1327 Guadalupe St., will include comments by the Mexican Consulate and performances by John Jay High School mariachis and Alfredo Lomeli, host of Univision's "Tu Estilo."
