Date(s):

Joint Effort Coffeehouse is hosted by Rudi Harst and co-sponsored by the Celebration Circle and  Inner City Development Center. Admission by donation, $8 suggested, but any amount welcome.

This is the latest installment of the long-running, periodic Joint Effort Coffeehouse series, dating back to the early 1980’s – making this one of the longest running musical series in San Antonio.

It's going to be a real hootenanny in the best sense of the word, packed with singalong songs, positive protest and bottomless cups of coffee and lots of desserts, all available by donation. It is a fabulous listening room series, perfect for fans of acoustic music.

Featured musicians include local folkie stalwarts Patti & Rod Radle, Bryce Milligan, Rudi Harst, Laura Marie and the Merry Menno Peace Warblers. The evening promises to be a much-needed antidote to the socio-politico negativity of recent months.

And on top of all that, all proceeds benefit the amazing good works of the Inner City Development Center, including their after-school education programs, emergency food pantry and clothing closet that serve the economically distressed folks in and around the Alazan Apache Courts.
