Take out the trash a day early if Thursday is your day

San Antonio City Hall and most municipal offices will be closed to observe the Thanksgiving holidays, Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23, 2018.

But do you have to take the trash out on Thanksgiving? No, but there's a catch: You need to take the trash out a day early!

Do you have to take the trash out on Veteran's Day?  Yep, you sure do!

City Hall and most municipal offices will be closed to observe the Veteran’s Day holiday on Monday, November 12, 2018. The recycling, garbage and organics recycling collection will take place.

When a San Antonio night is lit up by fireworks, the newest place to be is Hays Street Bridge.
