The Days of Linda Pace

In commemoration of Linda Pace's birthday, an art tribute by Jesse Amado, "Days" will open from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. April 8 at San Antonio's Central Library, 600 Soledad St.

Amado placed 22,615 crystals in the permanent art installation -- each crystal representing a day in the life of Linda Pace, who lived from April 17, 1945  to July 2, 2007.

Antonio Rodriguez, a onetime Artpace employee, narrates the slideshow, recalling the passing of the San Antonio philanthropist, artist and founder of Artpace.
