Updated: Scouts salute Fort Sam Houston Cemetery with flags of honor
Posted on 05/29/10
We added more of your pictures to this slideshow, showing how San Antonians honored service men and women on Memorial Day.
The slideshow begins when hundreds of Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts from the San Antonio area descended upon Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery to place flags on more than 100,000 graves of service men and women and their families buried there.
This slideshow features photos from this year's flag-placing at the cemetery in preparation for Memorial Day, in addition to photos taken last year by people in the community.
If you were at Fort Sam this year and took pictures, we'd love to add those images to our slideshow! E-mail your photos with caption information to news@nowcastsa.org.
