REPLAY NOW: The San Antonio Public Library will present a draft of its new Strategic Plan to the community during a series of public forums scheduled to obtain public input on the plan. NOWCastSA will webcast one of these forums live on Friday, July 22 from noon to 1 p.m. from the main auditorium of Central Library, located at 600 Soledad St.

We were streaming live on July 4, starting at 11:30 a.m. Texas time, as Fort Sam Houston observes Independence Day with a performance by the Army Medical Command Band, a commemoration by the Members of the Sons of the American Revolution, and a Salute to the Union, with a canon salute for each of the 50 states,

Replay the video: NOWCastSA webcast live as CPS Energy CEO Doyle Beneby and Mayor Julian Castro announced agreements with five "New Energy Economy" firms who pledged to bring operations, jobs and investments in education to San Antonio.

"This promises to be a big moment for our city which will position San Antonio as a national player in the New Energy Economy," Castro said when he invited people to the event in the Theater of the Buena Vista Building at the UTSA Downtown Campus.
