In the runoff election June 13 voters choose Ivy Taylor to be the next Mayor of San Antonio and Cris Medina for City Council District 7.
With 100 percent of precinct counted, Ivy Taylor got 50,659 votes, or 51.7 percent, and Leticia Van de Putte got 47,328 votes or 48.3 percent. The race was decided by a 3,331-vote margin.
With all 51 precincts reporting in the runoff election for City Council District 7, Incumbent Cris Medina got 6,732 votes, or 54.29 percent and Mari Aguirre-Rodriguez got 5,668 votes, or 45.71 percent. That race was decided by a 1,064-vote margin.
