Accessability Fest is an all Inclusive event bringing resources and recreation to individuals with disabilities and their families.  We seek to Empower people with disabilities, Embrace our differences, and Educate the community at large.

This event is a result of an unprecedented collaboration of non-profit organizations in San Antonio serving individuals with disabilities. This collaboration, coupled with the support and initiative of Texas Public Radio, has created the momentum and passion that drives AccessAbility Fest.

AccessAbility Fest is a collaborative community effort to share information, resources, ideas and supports among people with all types of disabilities. AccessAbility Fest was created with one goal in mind; to establish a central location where people could find the resources they need to improve overall quality of life, no matter what the disability. The event also celebrates the achievements individuals with disabilities make in our community. We celebrate these achievements by advancing public attitudes and raising awareness by highlighting individual successes during National Disability Awareness Month in October.

AccessAbility Fest brings together nearly 100 organizations and businesses to: Share information, resources, ideas and support between people with all types of disabilities.

  • Highlight organizations and businesses that provide these services.
  • Advance public attitudes, awareness, respect and consideration for the success of persons with disabilities.
