Big Lebowski Inspired Bar To Open November 2015

The owners of The Hangar Bar & Grill and The Three Legged Monkey will open The Ringer Pub, a venue inspired by the 1998 Coen Brothers film The Big Lebowski, in November 2015 at 2826 Thousand Oaks Road in San Antonio.

The 1,800-square-foot space located on Thousand Oaks between Oak Leigh Street and Jones Maltsberger Road is undergoing complete renovation from a medical office space into a tribute to “The Dude.” The space will include a central bar, table seating area and an outdoor patio.

Guests can expect White Russians on special and novelty décor that reflects the film, including a rug that really ties the room together. Owners, Doug Ackerly, William Huey and Mat Rapp, say the inspiration for the venue came from their mutual love for the film. Similar to The Hangar Bar & Grill and The Three Legged Monkey, this bar will embrace games and activities that give patrons something to do any night of the week, while they drink.

The Ringer Pub will open in November 2015 with the Grand Opening date still to be determined. To keep up with the most recent developments of the venue, please visit their website at www.TheRingerPub.com.
