The Texas Drought Project, the SEED Coalition and the Council on American Islamic Relations, organized a Forum on Climate Justice Nov. 11, featuring populist author and radio host Jim Hightower and international experts on climate justice issues.
Hightower, who has been active in anti-globalization and human rights work, delivered the keynote. He was joined in a panel discussion by Victor Menotti, Director of the International Forum on Globalization, and climate and human rights activist Genaro Lopez-Rendon of Southwest Workers' Union and Movement Generation.
