Cycling gets some momentum in San Antonio

San Antonio City Council has noticed, in a positive manner, that cycling has increased in the downtown area. So much so that that the council approved a bike-sharing, touring and rental program.

The program will start off with a total of 140 bikes at 14 locations supported by a central hub.

This will allow residents and tourists to take advantage of a greener way of moving around the downtown area and provides much needed support for our cycling community.

This type of momentum is needed to pass more safety laws that will not only protect cyclists, but all others who use our roadways for exercise.
