Give your input on SA2020's updated data indicators

Submitted by SA2020 on July 19, 2013 - 3:57pm
On June 4, we released our first Data Report, but we weren't done! The next step was to scrub and polish our data indicators to make sure they were the absolute best to measure success toward our community's vision for San Antonio.

We worked with nonprofits partners, Lead Partners, and subject-matter experts to develop a list of Updated Indicators, and now we need your input! The SA2020 vision is a product of the brilliant brains of our community, and we can’t make any changes without getting the input of that community. After reading this report, please go to SA2020.org/comments and let us know what you think!

All input will be reviewed to address major themes and common questions and also responded to via the I Am SA2020 Blog and social media, including Facebook and Twitter.

Residents can also participate in person at several open houses being held at the San Antonio Central Library (600 Soledad Street, San Antonio) between Monday, July 22 and Thursday, July 25. Representatives from SA2020 and experts from each Cause area will be available to answer questions about the revision process and the updated indicator list. Additionally, computers will be available to submit your comments electronically. The schedule is as follows:

  • Monday, July 22 (5:30 – 7:00 p.m) representatives from SA2020 and Lead Partners in the Cause Areas of Education, Civic Engagement, and Transportation.

  • Tuesday, July 23 (5:30 – 7:00 p.m) representatives from SA2020 and Lead Partners in the Cause Areas of Community Safety, Economic Competitiveness, Family Well-Being, and Health & Fitness.

  • Thursday, July 25 (5:30 – 7:00 p.m.) representatives from SA2020 and Lead Partners in the Cause Areas of Arts & Culture, Environmental Sustainability, Downtown Development, and Neighborhoods.

You can register to attend these Open Houses here.

We’ll also take your input into account as we work toward an updated Data Report to be released in September of 2013.

As always, thank you for your passion and dedication to the future of San Antonio. You rock our world.

Thank you!

Sincerely, the folks over at SA2020
