The HemisFair Park Area Redevelopment Corporation (HPARC) is asking people to respond to invitations for its latest public meeting on the future of the park. In this forum, HPARC will present the public's input from the previous two sessions discussing ideas to renovate the park, according to a news release.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m., April 26 at Sunset Station's Depot 1 at 1174 E. Commerce. Registration will begin 30 minutes prior. Click here to RSVP.
At the last public meeting, we spoke with HPARC CEO Andres Andujar shortly after the public announcement of his hiring. Our news partners at Texas Week brought multiple guests and dedicated the bulk of their Feb. 18 show to the future of HemisFair Park.
Also, we recently published a column from Rudi Rodriguez, the director of the Hispanic Heritage Center of Texas, who wrote of his group's challenge to bring their center to the HemisFair Park grounds.
