At 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, the Magik Theatre will provide an opportunity for patrons on the autism spectrum and their families to enjoy live theatre with a sensory-friendly performance of Elephant & Piggie’s We Are in a Play! During a sensory-friendly performance, house lights are kept on, sound levels are lower, audience members are free to talk and leave their seats during the performance, a designated quiet area is provided, outside snacks are permitted, and audience numbers are kept smaller, to offer an experience that will be both enjoyable and comfortable.

Additionally, the Magik is offering a pre-show story to help this audience acclimate to the live theatre experience; the story is available on the theatre website. For this special show, seating is limited and reservations are required. Reservations are available online at The Magik Theatre website, or by phone at (210) 227-2751. Tickets are $10 each, with group rates available.

Regular showings of Elephant & Piggie will run through Sunday, April 19.
