Residents will continue to enjoy staying cool, active and fit by visiting one of the Parks and Recreation Department’s four regional pools during the extended pool season. The regional pools will operate from Tuesday, Aug. 18, through Sunday, Sept. 27. During this time, the community is welcome to visit any of the following pools:

Admission is free.
“The extended pool season is another way the City of San Antonio and the Parks and Recreation Department continue to create an environment that improves the quality of life for our residents,” Acting Parks and Recreation Department Director Janet Martin says. “We hope residents will take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy lap swimming and open swimming.”
Open Swimming is offered Tuesday through Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 7 p.m. Residents interested in a great cardiovascular workout can take advantage of lap swimming offered Tuesday through Thursday from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Pools will also be open from 1 to 7 p.m. for open swimming on the Labor Day weekend Sept. 5, 6 and Monday, Sept. 7.
