TETCO and the Tom Turner Family Foundation has gifted Returning Heroes Home with a $50,000 donation to help wounded warriors.
Steve Huffman, president of Returning Heroes Home, said the nonprofit will use the TETCO contribution to fund programs and services for injured soldiers and their families on the road to recovery while at Joint Base Fort Sam Houston.
“This generous gift from TETCO and the Tom Turner Family Foundation will assist tremendously in providing the support that our brave military members require and to let them know that they are appreciated,” Huffman said.
To date, TETCO has donated $470,000 to Returning Heroes Home. “This donation is the Turner family’s way of showing our gratitude to our heroes of the armed forces,” said Jon Turner, TETCO vice chairman. “We are happy to support Returning Heroes Home in all of the important work they do for our country.”
Returning Heroes Home was established in 2007 to provide comfort and support in the best possible healing environment to the nation’s brave military men and women and their families on the long road to recovery. For more information, visit www.returningheroeshome.org.
