REPLAY VIDEOS: To gain resident feedback prior to the development of the Proposed Budget, the City hosted Pre-Proposed Community Budget Work Sessions at various locations throughout the City from May 19 to May 22, 2014 (replay videos below).
Feedback from these hearings provided valuable direction to City Council Representatives and City Officials prior to the preparation of the City’s Proposed Operating and Capital Budget. On Thursday August 7 the City Manager presented the FY2015 Proposed Budget to City Council (see proposed budget below). The City hosted five Post Proposed Community Budget Hearings Monday, August 11 through Thursday, August 14, 2014 to gather more community input before finalizing the budget (replay videos below).
Thanks to the underwriting support of the City Manager's Office and the City Council Project Funds, eight of these sessions were webcast live right here on this page, and video of all 10 sessions will be available to replay.
The City will hold two additional public Hearings on the FY 2015 Proposed Budget at City Council Chambers, 114 W. Commerce, 6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20 and at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10. City Council will vote on the adoption of the proposed budget on Thursday, September 18, 2014.
