Webcast: Family and Community Engagement in Education

Replay Video: Join NOWCastSA from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21 for the live webcast of the U.S. Department of Education's Together for Tomorrow: A Discussion on Family and Community Engagement in Education.

Together for Tomorrow (TFT) is a national initiative to spotlight and foster partnerships among schools, families, national service programs and community-based organizations to propel improvement of our lowest-performing schools.

This community discussion will be an opportunity to learn about TFT, to share promising practices and examples of school-family partnerships, and to provide feedback to shape the Department's family engagement efforts.

The discussions will be led by Brenda Girton-Mitchell, Director of the Center for Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships and Michael Robbins, Senior Advisor for Nonprofit Partnerships at the U.S. Department of Education.

Space at this discussion is very limited, and those who do wish to attend the event at Cafécollege should email edpartners@ed.gov.

Thanks to the underwriting support of The United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County, anyone can participate live via the NOWCastSA webcast right here on this page, or come back and replay the video later.
