Webcast: Texas Women of Influence 2015

The panel discussion featured women leaders: San Antonio political activist Rosie Castro; San Antonio Symphony associate conductor Akiko Fujimoto;  SAGE (San Antonio for Growth on the Eastside) Executive Director Jackie Gorman and Dr. Yvonne Katz, Vice-Chair, Alamo Colleges Board of Trustees.

Each panelist fielded questions about her career and the challenges and successes of being a professional woman. Texas Public Radio reporter Eileen Pace moderated the panel.

This event is part of the San Antonio Library's celebration of Women’s History Month, a time to honor the contributions of the women who have shaped contemporary society. This year’s national theme “Weaving the Stories of Women’s Lives," encourages us to explore how women’s stories, as individuals and collectively, are woven into the fabric of our nation’s history.
