No other choral work is quite as popular as Carmina Burana, Carl Orff’s raucous setting of 24 medieval poems in praise of springtime, nature, revelry, love, and fortune. Although many excerpts from this iconic work are familiar from their use in movies and TV commercials, nothing equals the power of hearing it live, in its entirety.

YOSA Music Director Troy Peters conducted, with a massive chorus, including the San Antonio Choral Society, the Children’s Chorus of San Antonio, and the University of the Incarnate Word Cardinal Chorale. This was te first ever Carmina Burana in the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, with the YOSA Philharmonic, San Antonio’s very best young musicians.
