The AccessAbility Fest committee is now taking applications for the 2nd annual AccessAbility in Action award.  All nominations must be in before the deadline of 5 pm August 31, 2012. This award is presented to one organization, family or individual who makes it a focus to help people with disabilities in San Antonio and the surrounding area in work, life and play.

On July, 29, San Antonio protesters met in Milam Park for a solidarity action protesting Arizona's controversial immigration bill, SB 1070. The demonstration was one of dozens of similar actions across the country. The march and rally is documented in this slideshow, through the photos taken by Pak Lai, a student at San Antonio College. Do you have photos you'd like to share with NOWCastSA?
