To kick-off Child Abuse Prevention Month, 5,846 Cardboard Kids will be placed all over San Antonio on April 3—in office lobbies, doctors’ waiting rooms, coffee shops, grocery carts, playgrounds, libraries, and more, and the creators of each Cardboard Kid will share photos of them using social media as part of ChildSafe’s awareness campaign to heighten attention, intervention and prevention of abuse and neglect of children in our community. Each Cardboard Kid represents a child victim of abuse or neglect.
