The multi-disciplinary exhibition explores the unique and lived experiences of 34 San Antonio-based artists connected to the program and includes partnership with local organizations Blue Star Contemporary, San Antonio Art Museum, and Say Si. Since 2004, the San Antonio Botanical Garden (SABG) has annually installed sculptural works in their beautiful setting in the Mahnke Park area. SABG Executive Director Bob Brackman has worked with Bill FitzGibbons and a variety of nonprofit arts organizations over the years, such as Blue Star Contemporary Art Museum and the Texas Sculpture Group.

Second Saturday is a great occasion to catch up with friends and acquaintances, listen to multiple DJs spin tunes, grab some munchies from a food truck, have a beverage and above all, check out the art. As a recent visitor to San Antonio put it, “We don’t have anything like this in Austin. This event is so great because it’s primarily about the art.”
