On Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11, 2014 come celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and take in a classical Indian dance performance. Librarians will offer tips on where to start your research, and share valuable resources available to learn more about your family history.

All moms enjoy homemade art! Visit Forest Hills Branch Library, 5245 Ingram Rd., 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 10 to learn about contemporary art and create your own work of art. Bring mom if she enjoys art herself. Create your own contemporary artwork. Artpace artists provide art lessons to students who will look, learn, create and reflect on contemporary art.
