San Antonians are being introduced - or in some cases, reintroduced - this week to the city’s SA Tomorrow comprehensive plan. The city is hosting open houses with representatives of a few city departments and other partner agencies provide basic information about the plan. The first of four open houses was held Feb. 28 at Stinson Airport. Last year, the City Council adopted the long-range plan to help guide the city as Bexar County prepares to add 1 million more residents by 2040.

The Parks Community Bond Committee on Monday, Dec. 5, finalized its recommendations toward the city’s planned 2017 bond. Committee members spent nearly four hours making proposals and counter-proposals. Negotiations during brief breaks took place. A few tense moments, also, were present.
