On Nov. 13, 2017, the University of Texas San Antonio will be celebrating 20 years of having Downtown Campus. There will speakers including San Antonio Mayor Ron Nierenberg, Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff, Taylor Eighmy, attorney Albert Kauffman, former state senator Leticia Van de Putte, Jude Valdez, Jesse T. Zapata and Jose Menendez. They will be discussing UTSA's role in San Antonio from past to present.

The San Antonio Public Library (SAPL) is a welcoming gathering place that celebrates the cultural diversity of the San Antonio community. Beginning Saturday, November 14, the San Antonio Public Library will host four performances in celebration of Diwali, the Festival of Lights. Diwali, the Festival of Lights, is one of the most celebrated Indian festivals symbolizing the victory of good over evil.
