The 4th Annual 5K Run/Walk supports survivors of sexual violence, as well as their friends and families, through comprehensive service and by increasing community education and awareness by donating the proceeds of the race to The Rape Crisis Center. Run 4 Hope wants you to be a hero for The Rape Crisis Center and register. Costumes are encouraged! Free Kids' Superhero Dash before the Run/Walk. Awards will be handed out after the race. Stick around for the Post-Race Party with family friendly carnival games, and make your own cape booth!

The Esperanza Peace and Justice Center proudly will be screening the most recent version of a work in progress film titled “San Antonio Four” on Friday, September 20th, 2013 at 7 p.m at the Esperanza Center. The San Antonio Four is an award winning documentary covering the story of four San Antonio women wrongly accused of sexual abuse by a homophobic, fear driven, and misled jury trial. Now a year after Anna Vasquez, one of the four accused women, finally reached parole, the film continues to follow the struggle for freedom for the remaining three women with new updates.
