This year, there are many different ways you can join in on Juneteenth Celebration Day - an official City of San Antonio holiday - from online discussion, marches, rallies, or faith-based events.
Here are some of the events that will be held in order of time.

Juneteenth March & Rally
March from Pittman Sullivan Park down Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. to the Freedom Bridge Together. Remember water, comfortable clothes, signs, snacks, whatever you need!

Volunteer positions are still available for the TEDx San Antonio event on Saturday, Oct.13 at Trinity University.
This is a great opportunity to get involved with community, especially the TEDx community, meet great people and hear brain-expanding ideas. The TEDx San Antonio website lists the speakers.

It’s that time again. Get your running shoes dusted off, your calves toned and your hamstrings honed for the 5th annual Providence to Pearl 5K Walk/Run on April 21, 2012. The P2P 5K weaves along one of the most beautiful spots in San Antonio--the Riverwalk Museum Reach, which coincidently is right across the street from the Providence Catholic School campus at the corner of Brooklyn and St. Mary’s Street.
