Registration is now open for the second annual Sustainability Summit. This free admission event will focus on the City Council-adopted SA Tomorrow Sustainability Plan by outlining the goals, actionable strategies and targets in key areas such as green building and infrastructure, food systems and alternative transportation.

A new book by Heywood Sanders, a professor of Public Administration at University of Texas at San Antonio, takes a hard look at the history, politics and development of convention centers across the United States. Sanders talked about his  book, Convention Center Follies: Politics, Power, and Public Investment in American Cities, on Oct. 29, 2014 at UTSA's downtown campus.
