Two job fairs are taking place within a week, one focusing on San Antonio's growing information technology sector.
Workforce Solutions Alamo will have a career fair for youths 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Education Service Center Region 20.
Organizations say there are positions available in an increasing number of specific fields. The job fairs are happening after the announcement that U.S. jobless claims fell last week to their lowest level since July.

The City of San Antonio, along with the U.S. Department of Energy and CPS Energy, officially announced today the completion of a retrofitting project at the Army Residence Community (ARC) and presented a check to the military retirement community for $518,701 worth of incentives and rebates for energy-efficient retrofits.

Jamie Stolarski was born and raised in San Antonio and graduated from Robert E Lee High School. After graduation, Jamie took classes at San Antonio College (SAC) in a range of subjects including fine art and photography. While attending SAC, he began working on his skills as a visual artist in oil painting, but has always been interested in letter forms which ultimately led to an interest in graphic design.
