NOWCastSA hosted the Bexar County Judge Candidate Forum at the Palo Alto College Performing Arts Center on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022. The nonpartisan debate moderated by San Antonio Express-News Metro Columnist Elaine Ayala featured Democratic Party nominee Peter Sakai and Republican Party nominee Trish DeBerry. This debate was made possible by the financial support of AARP Texas.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott, a Republican, will debate his Democratic challenger, Beto O’Rourke in a televised debate On Friday, Sept. 30, at 7 p.m. Central Time. The face-off, which will take place at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley campus in Edinburg, Texas, is the only debate scheduled between Abbott and O'Rourke. It will be produced jointly by Austin's KXAN-TV and Harlingen's KVEO-TV.

District 5 City Council candidates Teri Castillo and Rudy Lopez will be participating in a Runoff Debate and a Meet & Greet hosted by the Westside Neighborhood Associations Coalition will be hosting the District 5 City Council Runoff Debate on May 22, 2021 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.  at 1430 S. Flores St. The meet & greet will follow shortly after the debate from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.  This event will be held outdoors. Food trucks will be available on site for food or beverage purchases.
