Runoff candidates for District 6, Melissa Cabello Havrda and Andy Greene, took questions from the online and in-person audience in a forum moderated by the League of Women Voters of the San Antonio Area on May 22, 2019 at the San Antonio Food Bank. The candidates differed In response to a question about District 6 budget priorities.

The Great Northwest is hosting two Town Halls for residents to learn more about the candidates running for public offices. Join us at the Lodge of the Great Northwest to hear candidates’ thoughts and discuss issues that matter to YOU! Refreshments will be served. Doors open at 6:30, the event starts at 7. Councilman Ray Lopez invites everyone to the District 6 Movie Night at Travis Park (301 E. Travis) on Saturday, Nov.14, 2015. This is a FREE Event with free parking. Pre-entertainment starts at 6:30 p.m. and there will be bounce houses, face painters and balloon artists. The Lego Movie will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Gabe Farias, President of the West San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, will open the event, followed by remarks from the West Chamber's Vice Chair, John Leal of CPS Energy. Sen. Leticia Van de Putte, (D-26) will speak briefly to the audience of about 200 community and business leaders, before introducing Councilman Lopez.
