NOWCastSA is eligible to receive donations through the San Antonio Area Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) for the first time in 2015.
The Combined Federal Campaign is the only authorized solicitation of Federal employees in their workplaces on behalf of approved charitable organizations. NOWCastSA is one of 2,800 local and more than 22,000 total nonprofits eligible to receive donations through the CFC in 2015.

For three years, Krystal Sanchez coordinated South Texas Blood & Tissue Center (STBTC) drives for her San Antonio employer, donating and encouraging colleagues to join her.
“I never thought I would become a patient who would need a blood transfusion,” she said.
But that changed earlier this year when Sanchez underwent an emergency cesarean section. Afterward, she felt so weak she could not hold her baby.

Goodwill Industries of San Antonio is celebrating Fiesta 2015 in a big way by commemorating its 70th Anniversary with a special Fiesta Medal contest and donation
campaign.
The nonprofit will give away 70 medals to Facebook fans throughout Fiesta. For a chance to win this coveted keepsake, “like” Goodwill San Antonio on Facebook and correctly answer a trivia question for that day. Selection of the winners will be done by daily, random drawing.
Additionally, people can also obtain a medal for a minimum $5 donation at the downtown Goodwill store at 406 W. Commerce.
