The Alameda Theater, which opened in 1949 at 318 W. Houston Street, has been shuttered for nearly 30 years. Despite water stains on the ceiling and eastern walls, despite the removal of nearly 2,500 seats, the theater retains its grandiosity.

The San Antonio Aviation and Aerospace Hall of Fame was established in the fall of 2015 to Honor San Antonio's Aviation and Aerospace History and to Nurture our Innovators of the Future. The Hall of Fame Inaugural Dinner will be held on March 31, 2016 in the Valero hangar at San Antonio International Airport to induct eight honorees representing civil and military aviation and aerospace in its first class.

Incarnate Word High School invites one and all to our “Salsa & Scholarships” Fundraiser, Sunday, April 7, 12:00 to 4:00 pm at Incarnate Word High School.  You will experience a wonderful afternoon filled with festivities, including a fajita meal with all the trimmings, silent auction, children’s carnival games, entertainment, Mercado, an art walk, and more.
