On February 4, The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo will host a Stampede (5K run/walk) in downtown San Antonio. Beginning and ending at Milam Park, the Stampede will also include the Wrangler Chuckwagon Breakfast, Cattle Drive & Parade, and plenty of entertainment. Participants will report to the start/finish at 7:30 a.m. on race day. The 5K Run/Walk is $40 for adults and $35 for kids under 12 years old. Participants will receive:

From the Texas Public Radio website: The Good Kind Southtown will host a Christmas Toys for Tots Fundraiser! Join this family-friendly, holiday fun with FREE live trivia throughout the event, as well as a full bar and food menu. This fundraiser requires no ticket, however, you can get 10% off your tab all month at The Good Kind when you donate a new, unwrapped toy for their drive! If you can’t make it on the 20th, toy drop-offs will continue to be available from the restaurant with 10% off anytime!

This family-friendly holiday event includes the city’s stunning Christmas tree, pictures with Santa, ice skating, delicious food, local vendors, holiday music, and snow to enjoy from 6-8pm! No tickets are required for this event and it will be located at Travis Park. .

Los Patios is celebrating Sober Oktoberfest on October 15 in the spirit of Bavarian gemütlichkeit. This family-friendly event encourages people in recovery from drug and alcohol addictions to join in a community with others wishing to normalize sober fun. The Los Patios Foundation, Blue Heron Recovery, and other community sponsors are welcoming families to the event, which is free and open to the public from 5 to 8 p.m. A live mix of German and Czech music will be provided by San Antonio Combo Band. Family-friendly activities include lawn games, bounce houses, and more.
