Join Ann Mallard for her excellent wildlife photography workshop:. This workshop will explain the fundamentals of using your DSLR camera to capture the very best that nature has to offer.  The first session will be in the classroom to discuss the basic functions of a camera and how to apply this knowledge when taking photographs. We will then discuss the photographer's influence on capturing the better photo. This will be followed by a field trip around Mitchell Lake to find subjects to photograph. Bring a lunch for a picnic photo discussion at the end.  Ms.

Presented by San Antonio Water System, the 13th annual Festival of Flowers will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 29 at Alzafar Shrine, 901 N. Loop 1604 West, between Stone Oak Parkway and Blanco Road.The day will include educational seminars and shopping for plants, landscape materials and gardening accessories.
