Come see Sonido Barroco's "Le Chaos", depictions of nature in baroque music. This musical event features works by Jean-Fery Rebel, Antonio Vivaldi, Georg Phillip Telemann and more performed on period instruments! This event requires no ticket and is free to the public.

Irish Heritage Day (IHD), sponsored by The Irish Cultural Society of San Antonio, is a family event, now in its 29th year and is free and open to the public. There will be a free Irish High Tea and a program from noon to 5 pm which includes a Celtic piper, live folk music, storytelling, Irish dancing, info on Celtic and Irish culture and events. A raffle will conclude the day. The entertainment program, Irish High Tea and vendor and info market are all indoors, in the same, large community center. No tickets required for this event!

The list of weekend events are free and open to the public and will begin from10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pictures with Santa will be from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

The multi-disciplinary exhibition explores the unique and lived experiences of 34 San Antonio-based artists connected to the program and includes partnership with local organizations Blue Star Contemporary, San Antonio Art Museum, and Say Si.

The Avenida’s 16 de Septiembre Celebration, one of San Antonio’s largest citywide multicultural events attended by nearly 10,000 each year, just got bigger.
Adding to the colorful, vibrant and celebratory parade, gala and festival, which have been traditions on the west side of San Antonio for more than three decades, the Mexican Consulate will join with the Avenida Guadalupe Association (Avenida) this year to bring the historical Grito to the festivities.
