There will be a grand opening of Elmendor Lake on January 21st. The Elmendorf Lake Park Improvements Project was approved by the voters in 2012 through the passage of the City of San Antonio's 2012 bond.

The Grand Opening of the Robert J. and Helen C. Kleberg South Texas Heritage Center will take place Memorial Day weekend. Located inside of The Witte Museum, the Center will permanently house the Witte’s South Texas collections and exhibitions to trace the legendary history of South Texas.

The Grand opening of The OCTA-TETRA Museum will take place at 514 El Paso Rd., Friday - Sunday, Oct. 21-23. Admission to the OCTA-TETRA Museum is FREE and open to the public, and donations are welcomed.
